Practical experimentation and testing are at the root of modern engineering practice. Laboratory work is vital for gaining fundamental understanding of how materials, parts, components or systems will behave under a variety of conditions. As such, it is essential that electrical engineering students be able to work productively in this setting.

Students work with various lights and power sources in order to learn and understand how different components work.
Students are taught how to connect a variety of house-hold electrical items.

Students learn how to wire and connect electrical components to electrical main-boards as well as circuit-breakers.
Students make use of small-scale models in order to identify wiring techniques, fittings, etc.
