Ryan Illgner, graduated from Greenside Design Center with a BA Honours Degree in Interior Design in 1996. In 2000 he was appointed associate for Blacksmith Interior Design Consultants.
In 2004, he went on to buy Blacksmith Africa Interior Design in
partnership with Helen Farish. Blacksmith is a dynamic forward-looking company bringing innovative design solutions to the retail, hospitality and leisure markets. Major clients of Blacksmith include Togo Sun, Southern Sun, African Sun and Hilton. Some of the more recent projects completed include the Hemingways Casino in East London, the Montecasino Theatre in Johannesburg, and the Suncoast Casino in Durban. www.black-smith.co.za
