Heidi graduated from the Greenside Design Center in 1993 with a distinction in Interior Design. Heidi’s first employment after college was Barry Gould Architects from August 1993 to June1994 as the Architectural Assistant...

She was placed there as part of her in-service training.  The practice specialized in housing alterations, but she also worked on restaurant designs and office planning. Heidi then moved on the Trapezium Design Company and later Contract Interiors. Heidi also worked at Kite Works as the studio manager/senior designer. Some of clients and projects she worked on being Air Mauritius offices, I-NET headoffice, McGregor’s offices, PolyGram Advertising Agency reception area, SA Breweries Centenary Center, Orchestra Blueoffices. Heidi then found her home at Northpoint Architects, Urban & Interior designers (PTY) Ltd in September 1998.

She is currently the Head of Interiors - Associate Partner. She has workedat Northpoint for 12 years, starting there as a CAD person in a part-time capacity. She  is currently running the entire Interior Design sector of the company.  Northpoint specialises in Casinos and Hotels, and theirmain clients are Sun International and Akani Egoli, (Gold Reef City group), which has just merged with Togo Sun (the Sothern Sun Casino Group). Some of the projects Heidi has worked on during her time at Northpoint include Monticello casino –Chile; Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Centre - Durban; Carnival City Casino and Entertain3ent Centre – Brakpan. Heidi says of design: “I love design; it is my life, my inspiration and my drive, it defines me as a person and my ability to view life through different eyes to everyone else in the world”
